Review Underway – Editors’ Choice Zine
To celebrate five years of YCI programming, we released a Editors’ Choice zine featuring excerpts from some of our favourite pieces that have been produced by writers in our program over the years.
We launched the zine at The Commons, 401 Richmond St W as part of Review Underway: Celebrating 5 years of the Youth Critics Initiative on May 30th, 2024, where we also hosted an editors’ panel. Longtime YCI mentor editors Jasmine Gui, Grayson Lee and Vince Ha talked about the function and role of criticism, the writing process, and what it means to do critical writing in relationality.
