All Our Relations
TACLA is committed to solidarity with Indigenous Nations and peoples who are the traditional and present keepers of this land.
We work mainly in Dish With One Spoon territory, home to the Anishnaabe, Haudenosaunee and Wendat nations.
We also ally ourselves with marginalized and racialized communities across Turtle Island and our diasporic homelands, fighting the devastating, continuing structures of colonial, capitalistic extraction and the insidious violence of nation-state governance.
We are ever-moving toward better and reflexive solidarity and allyship practices.
We invoke “pan Asian” as praxis and goal while recognizing that Asian diasporas, histories and presents are varied, complex and conflicting, and that in this time of late-stage neoliberal, global capitalism, we are differently entangled with violence in intimate and inextricable ways.
